São Lourenço do Barrocal

São Lourenço do Barrocal is a multi-layered project — a family owned estate on land that can be traced back to prehistoric and Neolithic times. Using both local resources and bold new architecture, the project activates a dialogue with the local community and creates retreats within the landscape.

This development project includes various initiatives and aims to revive a rural area in Alentejo, south of Portugal.
