Catarina Pereira, a creative director and the founder of Voodoo Voodoo, leads a dynamic creative studio that specialises in diverse areas such as branding, editorial design, art direction, and cultural projects.

After finishing her Communication Design degree in her hometown, Lisbon, she moved to the Big Smoke in 2004, completing a Master’s in Communication Art and Design at the Royal College of Art in 2007.

Having spent 15 years in London, Catarina cultivated an extensive professional background through collaborations with esteemed studios including Saville Associates, John Morgan Studio, Winkreative, Construct, Kiku Obata, and Notable.

Her portfolio encompassed notable clients such as Hermès, Lexus, David Chipperfield Architects, Phillips de Pury, Tom Dixon, Kvadrat, and Somerset House.

Currently, Catarina Pereira navigates between the vibrant cities of Berlin, London, and Lisbon. She adopts a collaborative approach, actively engaging with a network of highly skilled creatives. This enables her to curate tailor-made teams that perfectly align with the specific requirements of each project.

Catarina’s dynamic journey underscores her commitment to pushing creative boundaries and delivering exceptional results in the ever-evolving landscape of design and culture.

In addition to her creative endeavours, Catarina Pereira collaborates with Alex Matthews on a compelling initiative called TONGUES, an extension of Voodoo Voodoo. TONGUES is a platform dedicated to conducting interviews with individuals who challenge convention and choose paths less traveled. This project reflects Catarina’s and Alex’s shared commitment to exploring unconventional narratives and celebrating those who embrace unique perspectives.
